Bovine torovirus (BoTV) A species in the genus Torovirus. Originally discovered in 1979 in cattle in Breda, Iowa, and named Breda virus, it was associated with severe neonatal calf diarrhea. Not adapted to growth in cell culture. Synonym: Breda virus.
