Sango virus (SANV) A strain of Shamonda virus in the genus Bunyavirus, belonging to the Simbu serogroup. Isolated from cattle and from flies of Culicoides sp in Nigeria and Kenya. Not reported to cause disease in humans.
San Juan virus (SJV) A strain of Alujuela virus in the genus Bunyavirus, belonging to the Gamboa virus serogroup. Isolated from Aedeomyia squamipennis in Ecuador.
