Chapter Objectives

1. To briefly review vascular anatomy of the GI tract (ie, normal and variant anatomy)

2. To correlate upper and lower GI tract bleeding sites to specific anatomic vascular territories

3. To review the percutaneous transcatheter techniques used to manage patients with upper and lower GI hemorrhage
