Duration of Enzyme Therapy

In our experience, about half of the patients no longer have pain when enzymes are discontinued, whereas the other half experience a relapse and must continue enzyme therapy indefinitely. We have not yet been able to identify those markers that will allow us to predict in which group a given patient will fall.
