Data from the North American Pediatric Renal Transplant Cooperative Study showing vascular thrombosis is the third most common cause of graft failure in pediatric transplantation recipients. The incidence varies between centers and has been reported to be as high as 20% in children under 2 years of age [34]. This figure depicts the timing of thrombotic graft failure by donor source.
