Blood pressure levels are shown before and after treatment with dexamethasone (left) or spironolactone (right) [5]. Note that the maximum blood pressure reduction with dexamethasone required more than 2 weeks of treatment. Similarly, the maximum response to spironolactone was both time- and dose-dependent.
